Who we are

What we collect
When you use the quote form or contact us we collect your name, email address, telephone number, the property location, and whatever you tell us about the roof. When we survey a property we collect imagery of the building, including aerial imagery, and technical measurements. The site itself measures nothing: it loads no analytics or advertising service, sets no cookies and writes nothing to your device. Separately from the application, the infrastructure serving these pages keeps the ordinary request metadata any web server keeps — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, browser user agent — which exists so that pages can be delivered and the service kept secure and available.
How your enquiry reaches us
While you are filling the form in, your answers exist only in the page you have open. What happens when you press the button depends on how this site is deployed, and the button is labelled for whichever one applies. Where an enquiry handler is configured, the answers are sent to it from your browser over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and the form reports success only when that handler accepts them. Where none is configured, the form hands a pre-filled message to your own mail application instead: your own mail account sends it, and nothing reaches RoofPruf until you press Send there yourself. Either way, you can skip the form and write to hello@roofpruf.com.
Why we process it, and on what basis
We process enquiry details to respond to you and to prepare a quotation, on the basis of steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract. We process project and survey data to perform the contract and to meet our legal obligations relating to construction documentation. Hosting and security request metadata is handled on the basis of our legitimate interest in delivering this site and keeping it available. There is no tracking or measurement processing here for you to consent to, because none is carried out. We only send marketing where you have asked us to, and every message contains a way to stop.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted within 24 months. Project records, survey imagery and the warranty dossier are kept for the duration of our workmanship guarantee plus any applicable statutory liability period, because they are the evidence that protects both parties. Accounting records are kept for the period national law requires.
Who we share it with
With the crews and specialist subcontractors carrying out your work; with the system suppliers where a manufacturer guarantee has to be registered in your name; with our hosting and email providers acting as processors under contract; with whoever operates the enquiry handler, in a deployment where the form posts to one; and with public authorities where a permit, notification or statutory filing requires it. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected, to have it erased where no legal obligation requires us to keep it, to restrict or object to processing, and to receive your data in a portable form. Write to hello@roofpruf.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

The code of this site sets no cookies and loads no analytics or advertising tracker, so there is nothing here to ask your consent for. The cookie policy has the detail, including what happens to a form once you submit it.
